I loved Arthur and Sesame street (even though it wasn't a cartoon). They were both educational and entertaining. Some (not all) of today's cartoons have kind of got obnoxious. I hate spongebob. He is always whining or yelling.

and for the most part cartoons today suck they dont give kids the credit they deserve, todays kids are a lot smarter than the cartoons they have to watch we as children had it made!! the flintstones the jetsons s****. bugs bunny cartoons rocked then:)

Dog Tanyan, Dungeons and Dragons and Cities of Gold were my favorites (though in cities of gold the characters did look chimp like) I loved the Title songs and the ongoing story in these ones.

As for today's cartoons - Justice League and Batman are good but they are not really for small kids....My son is nearly 5 and he really likes galactic football which is watchable even for the adults in the room

I don't really remember, I don't think I had a favorite cartoon, but maybe it was Courage The Cowardly Dog. Because my grandpa and I always loved watching it, and that was my grandpa's only cartoon that he liked. He disliked all the rest.

What do I think of today's cartoons? Crazy, and not understandable.

Looney Toons...Bugs Bunny, Roadrunner, etc. I also liked Popeye (the old ones), Mighty Mouse, Clutch Cargo, d**k Tracy, and Speed Racer.

My favorite cartoons were Transformers, GI Joe, MASK, and Thundercats....basically they all had great characters, good storylines, and alot of action...not to mention, collectable toy lines.

The cartoons these days , suck...the last great cartoon out there was Avatar the Last Air Bender...Anime dominates now...they take animation seriously...not that Spongebob Squarepants or Pokemon garbage...they need to do shows like Batman the Animated Series again..me and pops used to watch that together...it was good

Power Rangers and Rugrats!

PR: teenagers fighting crime in uniforms and cool objects!

Rugrats: tommy was the smartest and had the brain, plus all the adventures they went on

Half of them SUCK and the other half is okay!

sailor moon. me and my best friend at the time used to dress up as then and run all over the house. its an anime that has no age limit ^_^its great for little girls... transformation into pretty outfits, pretty gadgets and a prince and princess like protagonists

some of todays cartoons are quite c**p they just dont have the typicality that makes you laugh like the iron slamming into your face on tom and jerry.

These days shows are more patronizing at the same time as really great.

I'm 20 years old and my fave kids t.v is: Trollz, Watch My Chops and Spongebob Squarepants.

Very classic choice and I looked at kids cartoons and have noticed how pathetic they are! What has happened? They were created for retarded children. No wonder toddlers are stupid nowadays!

I was a huge fan of Sailor Moon.

I think children's tv has changed a lot since I was young. Kids just aren't interested in cartoons anymore, they just want teenage popstars like Miley Cyrus. It's a real shame. Especially for Disney movies. Mickey Mouse has been pushed aside to make way for High School musical. :(

I loved road runner and thunder cats. The cartoons today are utter rubbish compared to when i was younger, it all seems to be those c**p japanese cartoons and the shows for toddles are terrible, they dont even talk properly in them, no wonderkids dont talk as quick now as they did years ago.

Hong Kong Fuey, Top Cat and Mr Ben

I can't really explain why... they were just fun and totally diverse from reality.

With Mr Ben, I really did like the idea of disappearing to somewhere else - I suppose all kids like to have "Adventures" and Mr Ben had the best ones.

As for todays... what rot! Thank goodness for the revival of the some of the oldies.

They do not challenge or spark any imagination... infact, maybe a little insulting?? (thinking particularly about TellyTubbies and the like)
