  1. My favorite picture book was Many Moons by James Thurber.  I love that book!

As I got a little older I loved books by Roald Dahl.  My favorites being The BFG and Mathilda.

  2. I used to read the Ramona Series. Roll of Thunder Hear my Cry (mildred d. taylor) I loved. Boxcar children (Gertrude Chandler Warner ), Berenstain Bears chapter books (1st chapter books i ever read in- 1st grade), FUDGE-Judy Blume-gosh i loved these (actually i loved ALL Judy Blume books), Babysitters Club, Clue Jr, The House Without a Christmas Tree, Amber Brown series (paula danzinger), Dear America series, and there were these ones that had a family of girls and family of boys that kind of had wars/ pranked each other a lot ...these were one of my absolute faves but i cant remember for the life of me what they were called! The copy i owned of one of them had the kids playing tug of war on the front. Gosh i could go on for days...this brought back memories lol.

  3. Anything and everything by Roald Dahl represents my childhood years. I also enjoyed the silly poetry of Shel Silverstein and, as odd as this sounds, I read To Kill A Mockingbird when I was nine and loved it.

  4. "A Wrinkle In Time", "A Wind In The Door", and "A Swiftly Tilting Planet"-  Madeleine L'Engle's Murray family trilogy. I read them like crazy.

  5. Turtle the Turtle for sure:). Anything by Dr. Seuss. I loved Roald Dahl books as well.
