I loved Little Critter,Berenstein Bears, and of course Frances by Russell Hoban.

  4. When I was very little it was The Bobbsey Twins.  Later it was Trixie Belden and of course Nancy Drew.  Cherry Ames was a contender as well.

  6. I loved C.S. Lewis's Narnia books, read them again and again.

    Also the 'Jennings' books by Anthony Buckeridge, humorous stories set in a boys' preparotary school, I thought those were hilarious.

    Ruby Ferguson's 'Jill' books about a girl and her pony - 'Jill's Gymkhana' 'A Stable for Jill' etc.  Read those loads of times.

    Enid Blyton's 'St Clair' and 'Malory Towers' school stories, I read those lots of times too.

  8. I liked Enid Blyton but not the Famous 5 or Secret 7, My Naughty Little Sister and Amelia Jane Stories were my fabourites along with Briar Rabbit.

    I read from the age of 3 and would read lots of books a week.  I have lots of Ladybird books as well as Enid Blyton.
