I blasted the holy h**l out of all challengers, just like the commercial!

  2. Old Maid, Connect 4, Go Fish, Monopoly, Sorry, Clue

  3. Slot cars, though that's more of a toy than a game, but you did race your friends.

  4. kerplunk and I remember when I was really little HiHo Cherrio

  5. APBA Baseball.  I still play it today, after over 50 years.

  6. I loved scrabble, we played a lot of cribbage when I was young, we still love it.  My family also had a game that was kind of like Life, but a little more for grown ups than kids.  You collected little plastic hearts through the game.  I loved it cause of the hearts.  I also liked upwords and ad-lib (kinda like scrabble).  It was always great when we would beat my folks, they are tough competition

  7. Rock-um, Sock-um, Robots was really fun.

  8. Uno, Battleship, Chutes and Ladders.....

  9. When I was really young, my favorite games were Chutes and Ladders, Candyland, and Operation. A little later, but still amazingly fun was Risk and the Settlers of Catan.

  10. Upwords (a more sophisticated version of Scrabble)

Lots of holiday memories associated with that game.

  11. Thanks for bringing back memories, guys. I'd forgotten about those games, and I played most of those. The only one that is still around my place is scrabble, and I bet I could take any one of you. Maybe.

When I was young, most of the time we were playing outside. Anyone else play night games in the neighborhood?

  12. Chess was my game.  I was on a mission to beat my uncle.

When I was a wee girl it was a game called Cootie.

  13. connect 4

  14. My favorite board game as a kid was Parchesi, probably because we had that one and didn't have much else.  We did have checkers, but Parchesi seemed to be more fun.  The favorite overall was a deck of cards.  With it we could play crazy 8's, go fish, old maid, a game we called "120's", solitaire or "patience", hearts, gin rummy, do numerous card tricks, etc.  As kids we got hours of fun and entertainment from a deck of cards.

  15. Battleship. I got it for my 12th BD and had it for years. Movers lost it. :*( NOW, I didn't even know they amde it anymore like that and my nephews got them for Christmas. Can't wait to play!

  16. Hungry Hungry Hippos

  17. Candy Land!  My mom used to stack the deck so I'd always win.  She didn't tell this to me until recently.  Completely shattered my gaming self-esteem.

  18. dis d**k lolololololololololololol

  19. Battleship, Kerplunk, Life, Monopoly, TWISTER! SkipBo, Sorry, Uno, Yahtzee.  My little brother and I played all of those games nearly every weekend.  My husband and I still play Monopoly, Life and Uno together.

  20. My sisters and I loved Clue and Monopoly.  When we got a little older, we spent hours playing backgammon.

  21. Axis and Allies.  (Oh, I must also admit I was quite a Dungeons & Dragons junkie too...)

  22. Parchesi, Emergency (based off the tv show), Charlie's Angels (based off the tv show), Stratego

  23. Mousetrap

  24. My 3 level, Barbie Townhouse with the elevator that worked by pulling/releasing the string.  Santa brought it to me when I was 5 years old, (33 years ago!) and I still remember it like it was yesterday

  25. Carom. It's a board game that uses red, green, white, and black wooden or plastic rings to flick and strike certain rings into one of the four pockets.

The board can also accommodate checkers and backgammon.

On the back of the board is a different type of Carom.

  26. UNO

  27. Pit!

Unfortunately, you can't find it any more, but it was fun.

  28. Twister

  29. Chutes and Ladders

  30. I remember playing a lot of chess with my family, although I don't think I ever won the games.  However, I would put up a really good fight (pieces wise).  We would sometimes "gamble" with pennies or spare change to make it more interesting.

  31. Life
