  1. Peter Pan was quite the adventure.

  2. All of the Dr. Seuss's series!

  3. The Little Golden Books were great. I loved The Pokey Little Puppy and The Saggy Baggy Elephant

  4. Probably The Runaway Bunny, or Winkin', Blinkin', and Nod.

  5. The Velveteen Rabbit.

Probably because the loss theme was relevant to my young life and helped me put my loss of a sister in context somehow.

  6. Mine would have to be the all time favorite

"Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seus.

  7. The Cat in the Hat,Green eggs in ham,Corduroy,Moonlight,A Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Tiny Seed, Little Cloud, and Dream Snow.

  13. Green Eggs and Ham. It's just great how it teaches language and teaches children how to try new things without preaching. I mean, if Jesse Jackson reads it on Saturday Night Live, it must be good!

  14. I've always loved "The Berenstain's B Book." It's out of print, but not hard to get. Now my kids love it too! I love the alliteration.

    It starts out like this:

"Big, brown bear, blue bull, beautiful baboon blowing bubbles, biking backwards . . ."

    and ends with:

"and that's what broke baby bird's balloon," which is my daughter's favorite part.
