What was your favorite geology class?

What do you mean by what geology class is my favorite? Are you asking what we like best about it? You know geology is geology but, there are a variety of studies go along with it. What I like best about geology is studying earthquakes, volcanoes and the geological history scale.

Ive only taken 2 in college. The first was basic geology 101 and the lab which we studied rocks and minerals ( I enjoyed the lab, the lecture was boring). The second I took was about earth's history and techtonics ( history boring, techtonics interesting). I dropped out before I coud take more due to financail issues and grade problems.

Should add I  was going for a major in geology, hope to go back and finish it someday (but who knows).

I enjoyed Geomorphology class for a number of reasons.  I could actually see the processes we learned about as they happened...sediments moving, landforms changing, etc.  The professor was also very cool.  (Dr. Tom Gardner, Penn State, 1982.)  I would have to say that Stratigraphy took a close second.  Least favorite was hard rock petrology. (Sorry, Dr. Eggler!!)
