What was it you liked about it--the job, the people, the place, or even the money and the independence it brought you? Or...did you have a job you totally loathed as a kid?

  1. I baby sat younger  neighborhood kids.

  2. My Favorite and most hardest "kid job" was working at a winery in upstate new york.  Picked the grapes...pruned the plants, filled the bottles as well as labeled them.  Even got a taste from time to time.

  3. I worked at a restaurant, I didn't like the place, didn't particularly like the job. I liked the money - even though I didn't get much, and the staff. I think getting a job as a teen whilst in school is essential for social skills, independence and confidence building, as schools don't teach you these skills in my opinion.
