I'm only 17, but me and my family went to Europe a couple years ago. It was great. We stayed in Baiersbronn, Germany for week. It's like a village in the mountains and our apartment overlooked the village, just beautiful to gaze upon ever morning!

Then we stayed in Austria for 5 days, because my dad's company is Austrian and let us stay in this nice guest house for free. Then we stayed in Munich for the last 4 days. And we went all over the place. We went to France for a day, and went up a cable car to the mountains, and went to Salzburg.

Great vacation.

What's yours?

  1. Me and my partner went on our first and only holiday together to Gambia. It was great and we can't wait to go back

  2. hongkong -lovely places&weather,  beautiful women, but disappoinment at my visit to andrew church - nobody talked or smiled there

  3. That sounds like a wonderful trip!  I took a cruise when I was in my 20's through the Baltic Sea that went to Leningrad(St. Petersburg now), Finland, Sweden, Netherlands, etc...

It was great but I have to say my favorite vacations were either going to the beach or renting a houseboat on a lake with my husband and kids.  They were so relaxing.

  4. Free one week trip to LA..all expenses paid..

Went to Disney Land and Universal Studios..

Won the trip in free raffle..

  5. White water rafting in California with all my friends, Good water, good food, good drink and good friends.

  6. My favorite vacation was when I also went to Europe two years ago. I went to 17 countries in 2 months and I met some amazing people that I still keep in touch with.  Highlights included riding on a gondola in Venice, crawling through a pyramid in Cairo, skinny dipping in Greece, eating brownies in Amsterdam, hearing "Ciao Bella" from all the vendors in Rome, dancing the night away in London, shopping on Las Ramblas in Barcelona, climbing the Swiss Alps, white water rafting in Austria, and drinking way too much "lemonade" at Oktoberfest in Munich!!! Maybe in another year or two you can do the same trip I did, this time without the family!! :)

  7. Among other vacations, there is a trip to South Australia that I always remember. I was only 17 at that time and I went to a small town there. The unique about this town, Coober Pedy, is that almost everything underground - houses, offices, even hotels. It is so cool to see underground home swimming pool and staying in underground hotel.

This is because the weather upperground is so extreme. If it's so hot on the ground, then it will be cooler to stay underneath and vice versa. Also, Coober Pedy is one of the largest opal producers in the world. Another tourist attraction there is to dig the rock, to find that gem stones. So fun!

  8. I probably say my trip to Rhode Island. A lot of people would maybe think it's boring there, but I stayed in Newport, RI. It was so beautiful. I went and visited all the mansions and historical places. It was pretty cool to get a glimpse of what and how rich people from back in the day lived. Most of the houses are right on the beach so they all had nice views. If you like more of a urban feel head out to Providence. They have a great nightlife out there. I've been out of the country but had the worst time ever in Australia.

  9. My best vacation was the first time we took my daughter to the beach and she got to play in the water.  It wasn't some huge trip financially but it was a HUGE trip emotionally.
