  1. I know it sounds cheesy (no pun intended) but our quesadilla maker!!!  It was probably one of the cheapest things on our list (I think it was like $39) but we LOVE it!!!!

Looking back, I wish I had also asked for a really super nice panini press as well!

  2. Our food processor. We cook all the time and it's so useful we use it almost everyday, from slicing onions to grating cheese.

  3. Mine was my wife, the rest is all just stuff.

Why, because it's about us being together not just getting shower/wedding presents.

  4. money. because we were able to put it toward our honeymoon costs.

  5. Honestly mine was a black and white photo blanket that my sister-in-law had made for us.  She took lots of our engagement pictures changed them to black and white (which she got from the photographer - who lives really far away) and then took pictures of where we met and artfully arranged them on a charcoal background with our name and day we were married, and had them put on a gorgeous photo blanket! It was one of those "new" types of photo blankets where the pictures are photo clear and the fabric is super soft (VisionBedding.com

It was the most meaningful gift that we could possibly have received.  She presented it to us the day after our wedding ceremony with all of our family around and it was absolutely perfect!  Everybody was stunned, including my husband.  Everytime I look at it (it's on our sofa) I see so many happy memories.

Sometimes the best gifts are the ones that you don't expect...The time and thought put into the photo blanket and all the memories represented are priceless and that is something I will never forget as long as I live, unlike the kitchen appliances!

  6. So far (also still going through my showers) my favorite gift has to be my embroidered blanket. It had our names and wedding date it. It is a great blanket, soft, it is thrown on your couch, totally matches and I can have it forever.

I also really fancy our Wok!

  7. Gee, we had so many. Most treasured was a full set of china with a Ukrainian design from my family.

Other lovely ones - a handmade quilt; most used - an electric frying pan, a big one; most needed and appreciated - towels and sheets; handmade crystal mugs; crystal serving pieces (you don't really appreciate these til later in your marriage...); actually everything! We were just very grateful for any and all gifts we did receive.

  8. My family and friends who are taking the time and paying the expense of coming from out of town. That's the only gift I need.

    3 Showers? Seriously?
