What was your first job out of college with a bs in geology?

How did you get it? What are you doing now?

I got a job with the General Land Office (State of Texas) to work on the Texas Coastal Wetlands project.  I saw the posting on the job board at school (UT Austin) and went in for an interview.

That was many years ago.  Recently, I went back to school and got a Master's degree in Architecture, and now I'm working for an architecture firm with no direct relationship to (or use of) my prior Geology degree.
