What was your first job?

What was your first job and how old were you? Also how was the experience and how did it end? Were you fired/quit? why?

It's for a class.

My first job was at a department store, similar to Kohl's; and I had just turned 17. The experience was AWFUL. I hate folding clothes and working a cash register. It was so boring. And I also didn't like dealing with rude people.

I quit after a few months because I found a much better job.

started dog bathing at 12, it sucked big time , it was a nice stepping off point for the job im applying for at a pet store to work with reptiles(my passion). It helped cuz it was with animals, and I'm gonna leave so I can work with reptiles. hope i helped in whatever way i could

A server at a ice cream/sandwich stand.  I liked it because I made minimum wage and got tips.  I was 13 when I started and 16 when I quit.  I quit because a girl was stealing my tips.  I didn't like it because since I was so young,  a lot of the older girls picked on me and my bosses sided with them since they all went drinking together.

my first job was as an intern at IBM...I was able to get in cus of the academy i was in at school..i was only there for the summer..i was 16..it was great..they paid me 12 an hour..pretty much got paid 374 a week..i was done by the end of august and went back to school

It was a 2 1/2 month paid internship, so i didn't quit or get fired. The experience felt the same as going to school and following orders, it was kinda boring, but it paid well. I got about $1200 out of it. Oh and I was 14 years old.

My first job was a teacher.  I taught children in the 7 to 11 age range.  I finished teaching after 30 years because I felt totally burnt out and then became a self employed gardener.
