Mine was when I was stationed in England and was playing a course that had very hard ground. On a par five I hit a drive that rolled forever and ended up in the rough....intending to lay up in good position, I skulled a 6 Iron into the hole....DOUBLE EAGLE!!!!!

  1. when i sunk a hole in one in my

  2. hole in one. A high 6 iron with a fade. I didn't even think it was going to get there. It got there.

  3. My Luckiest shot was on thee par 5 18th at northview in BC the hole that Mike Weir Eagled to win The Air Canada Cup

My Buddies had both hit bad tee shots 1 well left and the other dribbled about 10 feet past the ladies tee so i felt no pressure but i miss hit it and put it in the middle fairway bunker,I then hit a beautiful 6 iron from the bunker I wanted to land it about 30 or 40 yards short of the water guarding the green but like I said i hit it Clean and was about 5 yards from the water I pull out my range finder and its 100 to clear the water and 115 to the hole so for my third shot I pull out my PW as i carry about 110 to 120 with it and i have lots of green to work with so I hit it and right away it felt and looked great right at the flag it looked like the right distance

WHACK it hits the flag stick and straight in the cup  EAGLE my first eagle ever(and last LOL :-(   for now )worse part was my buddies did not see it and they thought i had put it in the water till I pull it from the cup But  I was a little disappointed they did'nt see it but while walking back to the cars a car a guy stops and say great shot ahh someone saw my moment of greatness. After washing up we went in for lunch as we walk in I am greeted with a little round of applause I felt like Jack for a moment

  4. mine was similar! i dubbed off the tee and then hit a two iron about 230 yards and it went in!

  5. My first birdie was on a par 3 course. Usually, what I do (since I suck) is give myself 3 mulligans per hole. My first hit ended up 2/3 of the way to the cup. The 2nd landed next to a tree. The 3rd overshot the green and landed on the other side. I usually then hit them in order, closest to farthest. So, on the one I had 1/3 of the way to the hole, I hit it softly trying to get it to stick on the green. I underhit it, and it barely made it up the slope to the green. It landed about 6 inches away from the hole, and rolled in. I ran like h**l trying to see if it would roll into the cup, because I wanted to witness it. For about half a second, I was frozen, thinking if I could whip out my camera phone fast enough to get a picture of it. But luckily, i ran up and managed to actually see it roll into the cup.

  6. There's 2 that come to mind.  I hit an awful tee shot into the trees.  I had an opening to the green, but it required a perfect shot that I had to hit on the ground.  We're talking about 100 yards out.  So I pull out a 9 iron and hit it low like I wanted.  It kept going and going and going and ran up on the green and hit the slope and worked its way towards the hole.  The 2nd one consequently happened at the same course on the same hole.  I was not having a good day to this point.  Par 4 hole and and it was my 5th shot and I was about 100 yards out again, but in the fairway.  I had hit the ball fat and shanked the ball on another shot so finally I just decided I was going to hit a bump and run from 100 yards since I couldn't get the ball airborn.  I hit the ball on the ground and it ran the entire way and it rolled on the green right toward the cup and went in the hole.  My brother was right by the flag but had his back to it.  He turned around and saw the ball rolling toward the hole and thought, "This ball looks like it's going to go into....."  At that point, it went into the hole.  I've not tried that shot since then.

  7. Easy one to answer...

18th hole, par 4 after being kicked in the rear by my local course.  My fifth shot to the green slices WAY up a hit OB and into the weeds.  Ball is lost.  At this point I am frustrated, angry and tired.  The drop zone is about 10-12 feet above the level of the green (below my now lost ball), and is about 40 yards away.  Between me and the green is a bunker and a cart path - now occupied by our two carts and the rest of the foursome.  I pull out a sand wedge and the ball pops straight up from my view.  I am thinking that there is no way it is even going to make to the bunker and might land on a cart (or one of the guys.)

My partner is looking up over his shoulder as the ball lands about 8 inches from the hole and bounces once and in.

He looks at me and says "that will get you back out".

  8. Par 5 with a blind second shot that went down a hill and around a corner.  I hit a three iron pretty well and ball ended up about 1 foot from the hole for an easy eagle.
