I didn't know what my parents favorite songs was, but as i am a parent does that count, i do have 4 grown up children and 7 grandchildren, my late husbands song was "Cry" by Johnny Ray and "My Old Mans a Dustman" by Lonnie Donagan, two old singing stars, and as for me i like anything by Elvis and i just love Rod Stewart, mainly "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You" and "Sailing"
