What was your private school experience like?

I'm about to start high school at a private catholic high school in 2 days. I've only been to public school before. I have some friends going with me, and I've met some people there at orientations and it seems like a smart, friendly school. There will only be 165 students in my class to. So if you guys have been there, can you tell me what your private school experience was/is like and how you like it? Or even better, your switch from public to private and how it was different? And please no comments about uniforms--we don't have to wear them so don't say anything like you'll have to start wearing a uniform

I started out going to a private school when I was younger and they were definitely more strict, but if I had a choice I'd go back to one. People are more focused and you get to know people better than you would in a large public school. It'll help you out a lot in college and you've already got friends there so you should have no problem transitioning. I'd say just try your hardest when it comes to school work, get involved in activities and enjoy it!

165 students in one class?? woah! i have around 25 people in my class, while there are 5 other classes for my year with the same amount of students. yeah private school is just like any other school. new friends, new teachers, new experiences, it's all the same, so dont worry about it! just be yourself and know what you are looking for in your school life. have fun! :)

I go to a Baptist Christian school and i love it. It is a bit different at first but after you get use to it i'm sure you'll probably like it better than public schools.
