  1. the ending was AWESOME.. and adorable

i don't get why people hate the book. the ending was a happy ending and that all teams wins with bella, edward, and jacob connected in some way.

and to all the haters. SM wrote this book the way it was supposed to end, (afterall its her story) the reason why some haters are disappointed is because its not what THEY expected or wanted to happen. this SM'S story and the ending was happy. so stop the hatin. :)

  2. i thought that overall, the book was cute, but very predictable.

although i was certainly hoping for a good ending, i didn't really like the fairytale ending...    i think that the whole "fairytale" aspect of the book made it (sorry) a little boring, because you always knew that no matter what happened, everyone was going to be fine.

sorry to start talking about harry potter right now, but i just want to make a comparison. the fact that j.k. rowling killed off some of her characters throughout the series (as sad as it made me) actually made me like the books even more... During certain scenes in HP, i found myself seriously worrying for the characters' lives because i knew that it was possible for jk rowling to kill them (after all, she had killed off so many before, right?)

The worrying made me get really into the books.

during the whole volturi meeting in twilight, i wasn't scared at all, because i knew that stephenie meyer would never let anything happen to any of the major characters. It lost a lot of the intensity that it was probably supposed to have because i knew that no matter what, everything would be fine

ok wow that was really long :D  what i'm trying to say is that the book was pretty good, but too predictable to allow you to get really into it

  3. I thought it was good, but there was something missing to it. And Bella's personality seemed alot different after she became a vampire, did you notice that????

  4. I thought the book was rather predictable. The ending was ok, I knew they weren't going to fight but the happily ever after was good. Anything with eternity and Edward in the same sentence is great!

  5. While I enjoyed the overall story line (it was absolutely nothing like I had guessed in any way, except for the Volturi!) I thought the book had a shocking lack of details. I think Stephenie Meyer was feeling pressured to finish the story.  It would have been so much better if she had turn this into 2 books.  She could have developed the characters so much better. I felt like I was reading about completely different characters after the wedding. The little details (such as facial expressions, reactions, and little side comments) were what made the first 3 books so fascinating for me. The lack of these little details made the characters seem rather flat in this book.

  6. There were some parts that were a bit off, like the name of the kid. Renesmee Carlie? Come on. (I know I need to get over that, and I will).

But overall, I really enjoyed it. I didn't really care if it was too fairytale. Nor did I care that everything worked out for everybody. I didn't care that there was a hybrid child that grew to immortality. (Which, by the way, Meyer never said that it was impossible). In the end, I'm satisfied.

The author has let us know time and again that the books were written for herself, and I don't understand how these "fans" can get so crazy over the details of the book. It's kind of ironic how badly people are reacting to a HAPPY ending. It's her book. It's her story. Deal with it. You wanted another book, and she gave you one.

I understand that people are entitled to their own opinions, but I also understand that there has to be a certain limit to which criticisms should go.
