What was your strangest deje vu experience?

Meeting the man who would be my husband........it took me three months to admit to it though, LOL!

I had a strange dream once that I was in a foreign country, and at a distance I saw this beautiful golden castle on a mountain, and I wanted to go to it.  Without getting into all the weird details, I learned that the castle was cursed, blah, blah, blah.

Well, YEARS later, my husband and I were taking the "scenic route" to get up to New York state from PA.  We went through this little town that is basically deserted because of underground mine fires.  As we started to go up a mountain, I looked, and there on the mountain was some big church/temple/whatever it's called that looked so much like the castle in my dream that I gasped aloud.  It was hard explaining to my husband why I was so freaked out, since he doesn't believe in "that stuff."

This one time I had deja vu when someone asked if anyone has had any paranormal experiences.

Oh!  Here's one!

I was going to test drive a new car, one that I had NEVER SEEN BEFORE and somehow I knew that I had to go to the left side of the car to find the driver's seat!  But what was even more weird, I imagined that I would find a steering wheel, and pedals on the floor, and a turn signal indicator, and they were ALL THERE, right where I thought!

Well, there was this time, when I ate some cheese, and then I ate some more! it was sooooooooooooo weird!

I had been awake for about 48 hours and I saw this program on TV about the brain and saw a microscopic picture of neurones which looked like a tree.

It looks so familiar, like I a tree I new once before.

I called it the Joshua Tree, the tree at the center of the universe.

It is a nasty (maybe nasty) place where we all came from at the begining of time; and one day we all have to go back there, for eternity like we did!

But I couldn't help but what to find out about it and I found nothing.

I actually have an answer to this one:

So I had just made a new friend at school. She was a little weird but so was I, so it was ok. :) Anyway, she invited me to her house to sleep over. First time I ever went to her house. We left for her house after school (walking distance) and the trip (which was meant to take 10 mins) took like 2 hours. Basically, we decided to make dinner as soon as we got there. I felt like I automatically knew the way. It was weird, I tried to ignore the feeling.

When we got to her house I had this feeling I had been here before so I started thinking maybe I had (the deja vu was so strong). I walked upstairs and turned right into the lounge room (without her telling me where things were). Then, I put my stuff down and asked her what we were having. She said a pasta dish of her specialty. I proceeded into the kitchen and now I was sure I had been to her house before...I knew where everything was and how to make the dish.

Anyway, I started to make the dinner. Pulling out plates, bowls, frying pans, cutlery etc when my friend walked in. She asked me what I was doing. I said making dinner. She asked how. I got a little confused. She asked me how I knew where everything was. I said "I know because last time I came I made the same thing". Then she said "You've never been here before..."

It was kinda creepy actually. A lot more things happened in that house. It was haunted, very badly...with something dangerous. But she movedsoon after that anyway.

I had a dream that my mom said that we had to get rid of my pet ducks. And the next day she said we had to!

It sucked. But it was creepy.  I get deja vu all the time

I have them all the time.  The strangest one was when I felt that I  experienced this dinner at a restaraunt before.  I thought about it and predicted that the restroom door would be jammed and it was.  I was never at the restaraunt before.
