What was your worst hurricane experience like?

How did you get ready? Did you have a hurricane party? Did your roof go with you inside? Did your house get flooded with you inside? What all happened?

I live in southeast, VA.  I have really not seen TOO bad of hurricanes.  We had hurricane isabelle back in 2003.  It made landfall in wilmington, NC, so by the time it got to me, the winds were only around 80mph.  I went outside and played in it.  It did knock the power out for 2 weeks so that wasn't fun at all.  I live in a trailer so i was a little scared but it wasn't too bad.
