What washer brand is better...LG, Whirlpool, or GE?

I don't know if it's any better than the others, but I've had very good luck with GE washers. I've had 3 washers in the last 30 years. The first and the latest were GE. I had a Maytag in between and will never buy another. I replaced it with another GE after 3 years of constant problems.

i think your best bet is to go with either zanussi or hotpoint as they last a good few years ..x

I have a front loader LG, I love it... it's built like a tank .. The engineers really put a lot of thought into how tis was built and considered the user in it's design, ..awesome machine....priced around $700.... If you can't afford a front loader ( they really do save money)... consider a "Kitchen Aid" top loader... before I bought the LG front loader I asked a professional appliance repair man ... what do you own?... he owns all "Kitchen Aid" appliances ... that speaks volumes......... Good Luck...P.S.  They're all good when they're running right... they all S*CK when they  break down

If you are talking about  front load design, go with whirlpool then lg.  Do not buy a ge.

I have a GE, and have never had a problem.  It was high rated at www.consumerreports.org
