  1. Bulbs are fine.

Depends on what size enclosure?  I have a 100 on my 55g and it keeps ambient on that side close to 90 with AC running in the house.

Be careful with under tank heat... put it on the side if you use it

  2. generally a 60 watt bulb will keep things in the 80`s depending on the temp if your home. A 100 watt is going to make things closer to the upper 90`s depending on your house again.

  3. NONE.

don't use light bulbs (of any kind!) in your ball python enclosure.  They are a fire hazzard & dry out the air. They have no reason to be in there as the heat source...... unless you want a display light on it, in which a 8w flouresent would be just fine!

Heating should be from under or side tank heater. Heat pad, zoo-med pad or heat tape/heat rope.
