I don't want any more loans. Please tell me ways that I can receive aid for school. I work full time but I have to pay big bills like rent, car note, and other things. What else should I look into? Please no spam.

  1. There are many ways to get money for school. Seeing that you are working full time, there are usually some good grants that are available. Also, contingent upon the school, there are many scholarships offered at most universities. If by any chance you have a child that is another great advantage in getting grants. If you are a minority in this country, there are many scholarships and grants that are exclusive to various ethnic groups. I would go to the school and check out the financial aid department. They generally will have scholarship information as well as where to fill out the applications for grants.

  2. Definately fill out the FAFSA.  It qualifies you for grants as well as low interest loans that you may not have to pay on until after you graduate.  Otherwise, I would suggest looking into scholarships.  Fastweb.com is a great way to start.  Also, talk to your employer about getting a scholarship or grant through them.

  3. Apply for as many scholarships as you can find. See what type of grants your state offers. Also you can do a part time job at the school you are interested in and that money you earn will go towards your tuition. Another idea would be to go to your local Library. They have a whole section of books explaining how to pay for college.

PS I hate spam it taste nasty!
