  1. There are no diets, they eat fish and leafy greens.

Did you know that they need to bask under a reptile light UVA/UVB for  8 to 10 hrs a day for the vitamin D that  they need to grow. They need a turtle dock to bask on.

Leave the heater on 75 to 78 degrees always.

Their water needs to be clean otherwise they get sick easily from dirty water cause they p**p allot.

You need a good filter system!

**You need to feed them feeder guppies, goldfish or minnows for protein and calcium daily drop 20 or so in the tanks and watch them disappear! This is what the eat in the wild along with meal worms and crickets.

They need leafy greens for vitamins at least 3 to 4 times a week.

And a big tank 55 gallons or more..

  2. if you dont know there diet your not suit to keep one..

  3. give him/her fruit every 3 hour or so, hope this helps?

  4. Young ones need to be fed daily. As they mature, you can cut back to once per week (summer) to once per month (winter). Young ones are carnivores: earthworms, fishes (not goldfish), soft-bodied insects, strips of liver dusted in bone meal. As they get older, they will accept dark green leafy vegetables.
