What weapon is been used by the guy in this Black-Water video, I've never seen it before.

It would appear to be a Stoner SR-25 Sniper Rifle. The confusion with the M-16 is understandable as both weapons are based on the Armalite Rifle and in many respects appear to be identical.

The ammunition being used is definitely 7.62x51mm, and the report of the rounds being fired is 7.62 not 5.56, which are not that loud when fired. Look up a company called Knights which seem to be the main supplier/manufacturer for this weapon.

The version seen in the video is not the lastest version, which has a solid stock, not the vented one that the shooter is using. Try a Google search for "Stoner SR 25" and you will find many good links to sites about this weapon, some where you can veiw it great detail.

it's an m16, you can tell by the mags and brass. also it doesn't recoil enough to be anything bigger.

Some kind of M16/M4 configuration?  The mags and brass suggest 5.56mm cal, certainly nothing bigger.

Gen Patton is right, the L85 is a British bullpup configuration - magazine BEHIND the pistol grip, the M4 has a retracting butt, and the accuracy international is a .50 Cal...a HUUUGE round!
