You ask a very complex question.  Weapons might include everything from warships to bombers to assault rifles.  Since a complete answer to your very broad question would take more room that this forum has, I'll confine myself to a few areas, and let others fill in, as it were.

Infantry weapons

The current primary weapons for the insurgents are Iraqi and Syrian manufactured AK-47 and AKM's.  In addition, the RPG, SVD Sniper and a variety of Soviet designed machineguns (most notably the PK, RPK and PKM), and now and again a 12.7 mm Druganov machinegun shows up.  A wide variety of mortars provide the main indirect fire weapons for the Insurgents, as well.  Of course, most of their attacks are remote detonated bombs of one sort or another.

US forces employ the M-16A2 and M-4 assault rifles, several varieties of sniper rifles, the M-249 SAW and the M-240 machine gun.  In any fixed position, and on many vehicle mounts, the US employs the M-2 Browning Machine Gun, and the Mk-19 40 mm grenade launcher.  Many of the M-16 / M-4 models have the M-203 launcher slung under them, as well.  Javalin, TOW and AT-4 Anti-tank missiles are used to provide anti-bunker punch, and a fair number of the guys carry a backup shotgun for house to house search operations.  US forces use 81 mm mortars, and can call on a wide array of howitzer fires, as well as having access, of course, to an array of fast-mover and rotory-type air support.

The Iraqis really have no air power of any sort, and the threat of Iraqi armor was put to rest in the opening weeks of the war.  The US, of course, still uses a great deal of armor, from M-1 Abrams to the LVT-7's, LAV-25, M-2 Bradley and the Striker IFV.
