You'll love it. That version is special because it's PORTABLE. It means that you don't need to slow down your computer with a new installation.. To sum up, you just need to download it and then to click on it to use it ! (You can even take it with you in your usb key ;)

Microsoft PowerPoint is not free, but there is a free alternative. Try Open Office, a free alternative to Microsoft Office and is completely compatible with Office programs. Impress, which is included in Open Office, is just like PowerPoint.

Samuel Adams has a great answer, as OpenOffice is a great alternative...I noticed most answers are pointing you toward the viewer and not the actual program.

I believe you are looking for at least a trial version of PowerPoint 2007.  You can get the 60-day trial free of charge from Microsoft's Web site.  If you want it truly free, you're going to probably have to go through torrents...But that's your call.

You cannot legally download PowerPoint or any other Microsoft program for free.  Even if you were to install it off of a friend's CD, you would still need a unique product key in order to activate the program.

That said, you can download the PowerPoint VIEWER which will allow you to view (but not edit) PowerPoint presentations.  Here is the link...

Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 is NOT free. You can, however, download a viewer to enable you to view PowerPoints made in 2007. I don't advocate p****y, but that's what you're asking for, and you're not going to get it. You could try out out Open Office, which is a free alternative to the Microsoft Office suite, and it can be downloaded at www.openoffice.org

I can only tell you that there's probably no website with the actual software available on the web since that would be illegal, unless microsoft decides to freely distribute their products.  You can probably still download the free powerpoint viewer.
