Hi everyone. How are you? As some of you may know, I have a strong interest on learning more about economics. I'm doing a lot of summer reading on it (reading Principles of Microeconomics and The Economist's View of the World: Government, Markets, and Public Policy). I've also decided to do more too. I plan on reading more books and seeing what I can find.

However, in the meantime, I'd like to learn more from non-books. Is that a word? hehe What I mean is, I also desire to learn from sources besides books. I would like to visit some web sites to learn more.

What web sites would give me good knowledge of economics?

Just want to say that I've taken two basic econ classes before (micro+Macro). I'm interested in both (micro, macro).

Thanks! I appreciate it =D!!

  1. There's different branch to economics so it really depends on what you're interested in learning more about.  International finance, Industrial organization, economic development, or game theory.  If I were you I'd look for an economics dictionary.  They usually have some kind of version of this at a decent bookstore, especially a college bookstore.  It'll be thick and full of every economic term with a brief description.  That way you can flip through it and look up more specific answers online.  Say wikipedia is a good source for most.  Anything more in depth you need to find in a journal.  If you want another really helpful book, than find a good economic history book.  Read where the ideas originated and how the different schools of thought evolved.
