  1. if you are looking for multi-lingual tv, online tv social community, social tv network, internet tv stations, tv channels, free global internet tv, broadband channels, live webcast, customized tv programmes, After testing various TV software and visiting loads of sites. most of them offer a free trial or preview and then they make you pay to sign up, or are cluttered with ads. I think that is ridiculous... so ive done my research and have found a couple of really decent sites. The first one Id like to draw your attention to is (http://www.viewmy.tv) This site has almost 1300 channels from around the globe and counting. it is free to register and they dont ask for stupid details, just your username and email address. It actually streams live channels so you dont have to download any and they have a pretty easy way of finding the channel you want. You can search through genre, country, region or name of the channel. oh and there are no ads either. Check this one out. With over 1300 channels from hundreds of countries, loads of features like channel rating, user recommendations, live chat, profile pages and much much more.

  2. You can go to some not so great sites and watch news channels and stuff but nothing interesting/films or anything like that.

If you are meaning mainstream TV shows in USA and UK for example you could try downloading them as torrents. You would need to use a torrent client (I believe utorrent is the best one out at the moment). Then you need to go to a site such as torrentz.com - just google "torrents" and there are loads of sites - some offer just japanese programmes for example. Then you search for the tv show you want (or film or game or music etc, although some of the downloads are not strictly legal). You download a torrent file which takes  a couple of seconds on a 1mb connection. Then  you open the torrent file with your torrent client (utorrent) and it downloads the file(s) for you. If you need any more hlep google "torrent tutorial" and there are loads of sites offering good advice.

Good luck, but ensure you have a good anti-virus as some nasty peeps upload viruses instead of the actual files you want to donwload.

Oh one last thing - use vlc media player (google it) to watch the films/tv shows. If a message pops up telling you to go to another site and download something else to watch the file once you open it then delete the file and ignore the message - vlc media player plays all proper media files and if they ask you to download something it will be a virus or spyware.
