You might want to try links you can team up with other business and on each others website you can link them together. So if someone is looking at your partners/Friends website they have easy access to yours as well. I have found links are very useful, People will click on the link just because they want to know what it is.

I am web design consultant from Kenya. From my experience and interation with various clients, the most important features on w Small biz website include:

1.Simplicit and Intutiveness : The website should be simple to use.Avoid filling it with exceedingly long and boring tirades, to seem corporate; or many flash presentations. This will only confound the users(Read potential customers) and they may not be able to see the benefits they will get from you.

2. Good Information: The information you provide on  ya website should be able to cover the subject matter of ya industry.This information can then be used by the customer to help in decision making

3.Timely Information: Ensure that the website will contain up-to-date information. This will not only drive traffic to your website but also make sure that visitors to your website for more.

4.Use of FAQs: Use your FAQs to answer the general queries which your clients may have. It may be difficult to do this initialy but will relatively be easier to do later on when you have already interacted with your clients.

5. Light Graphics : Ensure that your photos and images load as fast as possible. No one wants to wait for photos to load. Flash is great but use it sparingly
