you won't find prices listed because the installers need to make money and this gets built into the price.

There are any manufacturers of PABX equipment.  I suggest researching the various manufacturers and their products.  The search engines should be able to differentiate between PABX (PBX) manufacturers and  PABX distributors/installers.  Each installation company has a company they prefer, so you would get a variety of answers if you query them.  You may want to look for "hybrid" systems as well.  Advances in telecommunication equipment has blurred the lines differentiating "key telephone systems (KTS)" and "private branch exchange (PBX)" systems.  As mentioned before, you will not find prices as each installation company has charges which reflect the rates for their particular area.  It costs more in Los Angeles than it does in Tulsa, for example.  Plus, the amount of labor needed to adapt existing wiring, or to put in new wiring where necessary  would add to the equipment costs.
