  1. http://www.fatfreevegan.com/gluten-free/...

Here is a list of gluten free, low fat vegan recipes. They're all really great, that's an extremely reliable site.

Frankly, there is no real list out there that covers EVERY product, but logically I can tell you right now that you'll be reading ingredients lists.

People that are gluten-intolerant (like those with Celiac's disease) need to read food labels religiously because even something that seems like it might be gluten-free would really not be. The breaded chickenless nuggets in the store might be breaded in flour, which would mean there's gluten in it.

Avoid wheat, and that includes spelt, triticale, and kamut grain too. Try using quinoa, buckwheat and soy flour. There are many great recipes and foods that use brown rice flour too, and many grocery store chains are picking up brown rice pasta and products.

And while you're already checking ingredients to make sure it does or does not have wheat ingredients, you might as well make sure it doesn't have any non-vegan ingredients. Here's a list of ALL the ingredients that are not vegan:

While spotting gluten on an ingredients list might be more simple (just memorize all it's forms, all the types of wheat, all the ways it can be listed), it might be trickier with animal ingredients. Maybe carry the list around if you're uncertain, or just find a few products you really trust and stick with them.

Also remember this: shopping for food in it's most natural form - bagged beans, fresh fruit and vegetables, dry bagged grains, nuts, seeds - is ALWAYS a safe bet that they'll be vegan and gluten-free.

  2. Try http://vegweb.com. There are a lot of good articles and resources there, as well as delicious vegan recipes.

Vegan means you don't eat any animal products at all: dairy, eggs, honey etc. VegWeb has some very good message boards, dealing with recipes and cooking, topics for debate, and just plain chitchat. You can use the site without making a profile, but if you register it's free and you have access to the message boards.

  3. There's one here: http://www.the-gluten-free-chef.com/glut... Just don't pay attention to the meat part of it. There are so many things you need to worry about before you diet is completely gluten free. Check out this site for Gluten-free "safe ingredients" http://www.celiac.com/articles/181/1/Saf...

    These contain gluten http://www.the-gluten-free-chef.com/food...

Here's another site that lists food that are actually vegan. It's good to know. http://www.peta.org/accidentallyVegan/

There's a LOT of sites that can help you out. Check out my searches. I hope they help you out.
