  1. I would also recomend a 56 (Titleist Vokey 10 deg of bounce).  I use mine for almost everything inside 100 yards.

  2. 58 degrees , 10 degress bounce , lob wedges take time , hard to use , when practice , pays off . if you have 56 degree wedge , go with 60 degree , if sand is 54 degrees go with 58 . more loft more practice .

  3. Taylormade TP Satin 56 or 60

Titleist vokey spinmilled 56 or 60

    Cleveland Cg 10 56 or 60

    Stay away from 58

  4. whatever you feel comfortable with.

it depends on the shot you are playing

    get a vokey - titleist

    cleveland cg 12

taylor made rac stin or black

    nike sv tour

    nike tiger woods

    get them fitted

  5. If you want to get complicated, i guess i would say it depends on the hole. depends on how fast the greens are, if the green is eleveated or not, for me anything 80 or in on the course i play with slick green, i use an 8 iron with quarter swing for a little bump and run.

    ping s58 maroon dot

  6. The teaching pros will tell you that the club you will use depends on the lie, the conditions , such as wind, moisture, the manner in which you swing, the power of your swing, the obstacles you must carry which are in front of you as well as the confidence you have in the club and in you ability. The best person to give advice would be your golf pro.

  7. 56 degree.  I use a Callaway Tour Wedge, but Titleist and Cleveland make fine wedges as well.  I hit my 56 degree about 95 yards with a normal full swing, but I can crank it up to about 105 if I close the face and swing really hard.

You should look for something with about 10-12 degrees of bounce, too.

  8. within 100 I use my PW

  9. Too many variables to give you a pat answer.  It depends on the hole.....your lie......wind conditions....green conditions......I have played holes from inside 100 yds with everythng from a 7 Iron up to a full Lob wedge.  Sorry....its probably not the answer you were looking for.

  10. well it all depends on yous swing, personally i like a 56

  11. The 56 would probably be the most versatile of the three lofts you mention.  Recommend Titleist Vokey or Cleveland wedges.

  12. I prefer my 54. I have a nice low, fly half way to the hole and role shot, and a flop type of shot. Both are good around greens.

When I am short-sided and forced to hit a flop, I have a 58, but I try to avoid it as much a possible. There is very little room for error in a high flop and in some conditions I would consider it almost impossible. I am also very fond of PW around the green, especially in slow conditions.

Really, in golf you need to make it easy on yourself. Hit high percentage shots around the green, shots you feel comfortable with. Usually that means low and release shots. That equates to lower loft clubs, i.e. 47 (PW), 51 (GAP), 54 (SW). I would avoid 56-60+

Cleveland, and Titleist are probably the best.
