  1. They weigh the same kj. But their mass is different though.

    1. Well, mass is a measurement of how much matter is in an object; weight is a measurement of how hard gravity is pulling on that object.

    2. Your mass is the same wherever you are--on Earth, on the moon, floating in space--because the amount of stuff you're made of doesn't change.

    3. But your weight depends on how much gravity is acting on you at the moment; you'd weigh less on the moon than on Earth, and in interstellar space you'd weigh almost nothing at all.

    4. Even though the weight of the feathers and nickles are the same, their mass is different. The mass of the feathers are lighter than the nickles.

Hope that helps you. If this is new to you, it will be kind of confusing at first. Its ok.... just keep reading about it and you will get used to it.

  2. they're both the same thats lik 5th grade work ...my god grow up pleaze !!!

  3. They weigh the same both are a pound

  4. depends where the centre of mass is in each case...

if the centre of mass of the feathers is closer to the gravity source (centre of earth) than the centre of mass of the nickles, then the feathers will weigh heavier!

i've over complicated something that didn't need to be! ha

so if you had the feathers on the ground floor, and the nickels on the 1st floor, then the feathers would weigh more

  5. niether they are both the same weight (a lb) wow this is like grade school question
