  1. were you trying to trick us? he he both the same of course!

imagine if you compacted a ton of feathers into a cube - no-one would be able to lift either

  2. They weight the same since you have stated their weight.

Of course, you could make an argument that the feathers would weigh more since in addition to the feathers themselves, because of the spaces in between the feathers, they also contain a fair amount of air within them which won't register on a scale (due to the displacement of the surrounding air) but will actually have more mass within the volume containing the feathers.

The lead on the other hand, is likely to be one solid lump with no air entrapped in it.

If you wanted to fool people though, you could conceivably take that ton of feathers after proving it weighs a ton, 'mix it' with helium rather than regular air and then place it on a balance scale against the lead which would then weigh heavier than the helium laced feathers.

Does that confuse the issue enough?

  3. they will both weigh a ton it's just that there will be more feathers than lead

  4. feathers:----------------

1:-it contains air in its space.

2:-weight by which feathers are measured are different from  weights used to weigh lead.

  5. They both weight the same dumbass !

  6. they both weigh a ton

  7. A ton is a ton; the only difference you'll find is in volume!

  8. same ofcourse

  9. Both weights the same. Its a ton.
