What weight class would Rocky Marciano box in, if he was a boxer today?

He is one of my favorite fighters, but I just don't see him taking on heavyweights.... then again I don't see Ali lasting against today's heavyweights either... So what weight class would you put him in? and would be compete? I say h**l yes he could compete, just not at heavyweight.

I think Enzo Macrenelli, from the Calzaghe camp would give Rocky a run for his money.  Enzo hits like a bunker busting bomb, I think he would flatten Rocky.

it would not matter because he would get his butt handed to him. he was not that good people!

He would clean up the cruiserweight division.  He would dominate anyone who has been in that division for the past decade.

He would brutalize second tier heavyweights, Ruiz, Toney, Barrett, Jirov and so on... goofy fighters like those, I do think he would not match up well with Klitschko, and I think he would have not been at all competitive with Tyson, or Lewis

Rocky Marciano ''The Brockton Blockbuster''. As the official Rocky homer here on answers I think he would compete and dominate the cruiserweight division seeing as he was 188 in his prime. And I would give him a shot at the heavyweights, look at the condition of the division! Bums the Rock would have decapitated back in the day are swapping titles like kids do with their lunch at school. If Roy Jones jr. And James Toney could go from middleweight and eventually heavyweight and win the ''title'' from John Ruiz imagine what  The Rock could do. The man hit like a friggin freight train, had a chin of iron and stamina like a long distance runner! Granted most of his fights he had would be stopped by todays standards with all the blood. But he would be a cruiserweight if he fought nowadays. And he or Ali would demolish most of the paper champs out there today. Great Question and long live the memory of the one and only Rock!!!!
