Question:

What weight should I be walking around at?

I have been boxing for a few months now and sparring a lot. I weight 137 right now and I want to fight at 132, so is this a good weight to walk around on?

I barely run, so I am guessing If I start running I can probably lose all that weight in a week or two. I have a pretty good metabolism. what do you guys suggest?

  1. yeah thats not bad, 137 to 132 shouldnt leave you too drained which in my opinion is the most important thing. I walk around daily between 160 and 167 or so and fight on the small end of the 165lb division. For an amateur between a 5 and 10lb difference is normal. I wouldnt risk trying to drop anymore than that though. It can be risky stuff after that. Just be safe man.
