  1. Hmmm... very interesting question. I have no idea what the answer is. DN was the Lorax really banned? It's one of my favorites by him. That and the The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins.

  3. Okay, the book was actually written by Dr. Seuss's ex-wife. Heres a site that has the book on it.

  5. According to Wikipedia "The Butter Battle Book was once removed from the shelves of public libraries during the cold war because of the book's position regarding the arms race."

    This may or may not be true, I can find no other books yet.

    Did find another one.  "The Lorax".

    Samikay2683----I read on two different sites that a logging group wanted it banned because it put the logging industry in a bad light.  I don't know how successful the ban was.
