  2. Attending dinner at "Medieval Times", Orlando...you are served soup with an unusual scoop like spoon, fashioned of wood, possibly and a quarter of roasted chicken which you eat with your hands, all in or on pewter plates and bowls!

  3. Generally the meat was spoiled, and heavily seasoned to cover any objectionable odor or flavor. unfortunatly spices where expensive and hard to obtain, so people got creative. Also Hunting was generally controlled by the ruling classes. so the peasants generally lived on Bread,cheese and wine. Cheers
