13 ANSWERS

  1. jmap should have them posted soon, also the regents site posts them l8r, just google jmap and w8 for it to be posted..good luck i took it too

  2. Some the answers:

    A, B, C, D, and E

    Your test may be different.

  3. Brian I got those as my answers as well YAY!...Because the big bang and universe were about 13 something billion years ago, i bet a lot of people put 4.6 because that was when the solar system formed. I also put B for the index fossil because it was in every outcrop atleast ONCE, so thats what a good index fossil is.

personally, I think the test was easy, i mean you must admit the short answers could have been WAY harder, the past regents had harder short answers(except like June07) lol. but yeah i will say that some questions were tricky and I was torn a lot between two answers for many questions, i think I did alright

  4. GO TO THE LINK BELOW TO LOOK AT THE QUESTION BOOKLET.

  5. Here are some of the answers that i got:

-position d for the moon phases one

-warm front for the short answer

-straight line EF for the one about the moraines and outwash

-counter clockwise and toward the center for the low pressure center question

  6. Good index fossils are not only widespread but were also around for a short period of time.

It was pretty fair, got red shift and blue shift mixed up though.

  7. they will probably be up in a few days.

  8. you arent gonna find them anywhere until after you take it. those tests are top secret stuff. I took it this morning it was really easy except a couple question. hope you did okay.

  9. Brian, yeah, I got those answers too (:

One that made me annoyed was number 10, with the hydrogen+hydrogen > helium + energy or something...

I put choice 1, with the fusion and the sun. My teacher only briefly mentioned it, and all I could remember was the relationship between helium and the sun. It kind of seemed like that wasn't much of an earth science question...and I skipped chem/physics last year (7th grade) so I felt a bit cheated on that one.

The erosion ones got me a bit too. The relationship between stream velocity and discharge I got wrong XD I said it was a direct relationship because I figured if more is being transported then eventually more can be deposited. Agh. And then the difference between the outwash and the morraine...I completely guessed and said the outwash was more angular (I think that was question 50 or 49?)

The short answers were pretty easy though. I thought the one with the rubies was a bit stupid though.

Overall, it was a fair exam (except for number 10!!! :P)

I checked that site that was mentioned, no answers though :(

  10. the answer key will be released in a few hours on http://www.jmap.org   the conversion chart (curve) is already posted

  11. I hope they'll be posted soon... I'm not sure when.. hopefully next week the latest

The test wasnt really hard though... just a few tricky questions

  12. I was looking for them too.

I can tell you a few I got, not 100% if they are correct.

    Multiple Choice:

    Q with the Index Fossil: B (2)

    Q with Dewpoint: 2 .C

Q with the 4 fossil pictures as A's: The one with the fish (3)

Q with Big Bangs: Over 10 B Years Ago (4)

    You remember any of yours?

P.S. I thought we kind of got ripped off. I felt this test was a much harder test then ones I have taken from review books or from earlier regents from past years.

P.S.S PLEASE IM AT SNOWBORDINGPYRO7 TO DISCUSS THE ANSWERS. ANYONE WHO DOES THIS IS GLADLY APPRECIATED (on aim)

  13. i need them 2 lol idt theyd be out yet
