This symbol was used by many ancient people before it was adopted by the n**i and perverted for ever. I would like to take it back as a symbol for good. What can you find out about it?

  1. Educating the public in general (not just on your perceived benefits of displaying the swastika) would be a good thing.

Yes, it is sad that the n***s perverted the use of a good symbol for the atrocities that they committed. There are plenty of other examples in society of 'good' symbols whose meaning has been perverted and become synonymous with other groups.

It is pretty much impossible to wash all the dirt off of any association and ignore the past. In most people's minds, the swastika will forever be tied to the n**i horrors.

  3. The swastika (from Sanskrit: svástika स्वस्तिक ) is an equilateral cross with its arms bent at right angles, in either right-facing (卐) form or its mirrored left-facing (卍) form. The swastika can also be drawn as a traditional swastika, but with a second 90° bend in each arm.

Archaeological evidence of swastika-shaped ornaments dates from the Neolithic period. An ancient symbol, it occurs mainly in the cultures that are in modern day India and the surrounding area, sometimes as a geometrical motif (as in the Roman Republic and Empire) and sometimes as a religious symbol. It was long widely used in major world religions such as shamanism

Though once commonly used all over much of the world without stigma, because of its iconic usage in n**i Germany, the symbol has become controversial in the Western world.

It is nice that you want to use the symbol for good, but it is difficult to repair it's association with something so inherently evil like the n**i Regime.
