  1. Being duped by their superstitions. They were sitting ducks on opening day. Were a brick shy of a load. They were all the suckers in the world, born in one minute. They hid when the brains were passed out. They always answered 'knock, knock'  jokes. They gave their real names and birthdates on online questionaires. They sold cows for magic beans. They were incredible putzes.

  2. Their known for sacrifices, stone temple's, building the capital city on a lake(aka,Mexico city) choc late was a kind of currency.

  3. the aztecs did not invent or create chocolate. it was their predecessors the olmecs that discovered the properties of the cacao bean and the aztecs inhanced this. we can; however, thank the aztecs for providing us with the word chocolate=xocolatl as well as many other culinary words. such words as tomato, chayote, ocelot all come from the nahuatl language.

  4. The Aztecs were known for a lot.  They built huge monuments that would take months even with todays cranes.  Contrary to the first answer they did not create chocolate, they just mixed cocoa with water it was called Chocalate (shock a lot) and they gave it to the Spanish, when the king of Spain tasted it he loved it except for the bitterness.  The Spanish added sugar and the rest is history.  The Aztecs also were the first to worship only four gods!

  6. they made they're great city and they created delicious chocolate

  7. Among the good things Aztecs are known for is the creation of chocolate from cocoa. Another is their creation of towering structures. But as far as I recall, Aztecs were more known for their vicious characters.

As I remember from my history class, Aztecs were abhorred by nearby civilizations because of their cruelty. They were fond of war and conflict. But what the civilizations hated most was the Aztecs' inhumane way of religious practice--they killed people, mostly virgins, to sacrifice their hearts to the gods.

  8. Mmmm....chocolate!!

  9. More then anything it was their calender which is more accurate then the one we use today.  They also had cacao beans (chocolate) and human sacrifice (population control) and dynamic architecture (which they borrowed from other regional civilizations).  There form of government was unique.

  10. Carving a stone calander and cutting out heart for sacrifices to their gods.
