Here is all the information you need to know about Mount Fuji.
Mount Fuji is a composite/stratavolcano. It's elevation is 3,776 meters high and it formed because of a subduction zone. It's last eruption was December 16th, 1707. The type of eruption was violent. There were 16 eruptions before 1707, which started in 781 A.D. The destruction caused by Mount Fuji's eruption was because of no lava flow, but because the volcano released tremoundous amounts of volcanic ash into the air, towns, and farmlands causing people to starve.
Hope this helps :)
