  1. It's a pretty broad question.

    Why don't you try picking up a book or two and doing your own homework?  Someone giving you the answer isn't going to help you learn, which is the point, after all.

    EDIT:  Well, in that case, your mom should be setting a good example for you by reading, studying, and doing her own homework.  History isn't that hard--it's the easiest subject there is.  All you have to do is memorize and be able to occasionally take certain events and place them within a particular context.  

    The whole point of this kind of question is that there is no 100% right answer--it's supposed to make you think.
