  1. The promises of the revolutionary war were people would not have their civil liberties violated and people would be free and equal, at least the was the idea. "All men are created equal" did not happen by the end of the Jacksonian era. Jackson left office in 1837 and equality was not achieved than. Just in 1830 for example, Jackson passed the Indian Removal Act and forced thousands of Cherokees to march 4,000 miles to Oklahoma. Total equality did not occur until the 1960s. Up until than people always had their civil liberties violated, unless you were a rich, white male.


  2. "No taxation without representation" was the biggest promise, and no it was not achieve by the jack. era all the poor and middle class were not represented in  government because they did not meet the requirement to even vote
