They were very similar to the Nubian culture, and there culture seems to have come from the same population in the past.

The main rule was to follow tradition, to do things the way your father did them and never to change anything. It's probably why it lasted so long.

They had basically found their niche (The Nile Valley), and showed less interest in conquering other territories!
