I understand one of the reason the trade was not done was because the Marlins wanted Manny, $9 million dollars and two of bostons top prospects? Instead we get a 900 year old relief pitcher.....

  1. one of the good things about the marlins is their getting the most bang for their buck. they have the lowest salary  and still are a really good team. manny would boost the salary  up a lot and he just wouldnt fit in the rotation. he would do more harm then good

  2. Thanks for the laugh, lol, a 900 year old relief pitcher.

Honestly even as a Dodger fan I think he could have done great with the Marlins. But the fish were just asking for way to much

  3. Manny would have single handedly doubled the Marlins salary and drag their defense down.

  4. What were the Marlins thinking about anything?

For years, they've been focused on keeping their payroll under $20 million (or whatever). Then they wanted Manny Ramirez, who is owed $20 million?

The Marlins were focused on a young team. And now they've got a veteran pitcher?

Do they have a game plan?

  5. Manny is a Dodger now!

I have to say i am really happy about this trade, i know the players were really close to LaRoche, but im sure he'll come back someday.

  6. manny is a virus... his attitude is S****y and will just drag the rest of the players down... he's the T.O. of baseball.
