  1. negative effects of the fedual system was the fact that for most commoner i believe 80-90% of the population it was literally impossible to go up the social ladder. Furthermore with fedual systems the king was not in direct control of all his subject meaning his subject better be people he trusted or it would be very simple for them to appoint other dukes and feudal lord that support their side. another negative effect is that the feudal system relied deeply on gaining status through work and power it doesnt mean your smart you help a king fight a war he grants you power it doesn't mean the king handpick people that were wise and able to rule their own sector. furthermore sectors usually had rivalrys making bad relationships with each other and internal fighting
