OJ who had a turbulent relationship with his wife was accused of her murder and that of her friend, Ron Goldman, after they were divorced.

He was found not guilty and was tried in a civil court.  New evidence was presented and he was found guilty of both murders and could not be tried because of "Double Jeopardy".

The Goldman Family (Ron Goldman) was awarded $33,000,000.00 but has refused to pay and fled to Florida where the law says you cannot get any money from a guilty person's pension.  The Brown Family (Nicole, the wife) also received an award and he has not honored that either.  

There are a few books, that you can get in the library, that describe the case in detail.  One is written by Ron Goldman's father, Fred and one is written by Mark Fuhrman, Detective on the case.  Both are excellent and factual.
