What were the original story for all those kids storys

Question

if u don't understand what I'm talking about.I'm talking about like Goldilocks and the 3 bears where Goldilocks was from the original story was really an old woman and also that she died from the fence area of the bears home also another one is the little mermaid where she in the original story (not that disney) she lost her voice,was trapped inside the cave without being saved,and she died.

so if you know any original stories from the kid friendly folklore please answer or if you can give me the link that would be awsome also if you give me the most stories u will get the best answer

pretty much all of the stories from the Brothers Grimm are like that because the Brothers Grimm made a point of writing down the stories, legends, and myths that they heard from people without altering them at all. Some of the more famous ones (Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, etc.) have been changed by disney to be more kid friendly, but if you find a book, or site, that says specially the stories of the Brothers Grimm and that they are unaltered, then you will get the original versions (which i would not advise you to show any children)

The original were deemed too violent or sexual for children. They revamped them to give children sweet dreams. Here is a link that can take you to a few originals.
