  1. Depending on the interpretation of what should be called Homo erectus, they existed almost 2 million years and spanned and enormous geographic range.  The Asian erectus were likely a separate species fairly early on or at least some of them were.  Those more primitive, farther from modern humans, were probably most menaced by closer relatives of modern humans like relatives of heidelbergensis even though there is no evidence of that.  It just seems logical from a common sense perspective in my opinion. It is reasonable to assume they were preyed on by tigers and probably at least occasionally by leopards and bears.  Crocodiles would take a few.  Their fossils have been dated to 50,000 years ago so they probably were also preyed on by modern humans.

  2. Lions and Tigers and Bears...Oh my!

  3. Large cats - as in leopards, lions, or whatever the large feline predator was back then

  4. A few Homo Erectus skulls have been found located in rock crevasses below trees. They show fang marks of large predator cats, most likely leopards. This is the only concrete evidence of a predator.

Given the time and observations made in historical times, most large predators would have hunted Homo erectus. However, marks on the bones can't always be considered conclusive and often there's no way to determine how they died.

  5. Wolves, bear, lions, sharks.
