While the King governed the land, It was the Queen's duty to maintain the household.  It was her job to keep the staff under control and make sure that they did what was required of them.  She was responsible for keeping account of every item, down to the counting of silverware and she also was in charge of the food stocks inventory.

    It was not all glamor and parties for her.  Most days (other than her royal status) she was nothing more than the overseer of the castle interior.
