What were the total points scored in all games including playoffs in the NFL in the 2007-2008 year?

Hey all,

Ok here is what you are looking for:

Regular Season: 5185 Points by Away Teams, 5919 by Home Teams

That gives us 11,104 total.

Post Season: 216 Points by Away Teams, 264 by Home Teams

That gives us 480 total

And a Grand Total of 11,584 points scored in the 2007-2008 season.

If you check out the referring site, you can see 2007 had a lot of blow out victories and the margin of victory was very high, i.e. not a very competive year.
